The CSF Universal Dual-Pass Oil Cooler, model #8201, represents a high-quality solution engineered for optimal thermal management in demanding automotive applications. Its custom end tanks feature a precise 45° front angle, enabling a seamless fit inside the iconic '73-style RS Porsche bumpers, with fittings oriented straight back for streamlined installation.
To achieve the best airflow and maximize cooling efficiency, CSF recommends modifying the front tub by cutting it to allow air to flow properly through the cooler, exiting behind it and underneath the vehicle. This modification also facilitates the installation of a rear fan shroud, which enhances airflow through the cooler at lower speeds or while idling, ensuring consistent oil temperature regulation under various operating conditions.
