The MMX BMW Magnetic Sump Plug is a simple yet highly effective upgrade designed to protect and extend the life of your engine. As engines run, tiny ferrous particles naturally become suspended in the oil, circulating through critical components like crankshaft bearings and camshaft caps, which over time contributes to increased wear. This precision-engineered sump plug features a strong magnetic core with a large surface area, effectively capturing and separating harmful metallic debris from your oil to ensure cleaner lubrication and reduced long-term engine wear.
Manufactured from lightweight T6-6061 aluminium, the MMX Magnetic Sump Plug is finished in a durable gloss black anodising and supplied with a set of five sealing washers for long-term reliability. The latest revised design now includes fitment for BMW’s B58 engines, alongside all other modern BMW powerplants that use an M12x1.5 sump plug thread.
