Description
Milltek Audi RS3 8Y Version 2 Large Bore Downpipe, Decat & GPF Bypass replaces the factory components to create a much more free flowing and less restrictive exhaust system. This system eliminates the factory catalytic convertors, as well as the OPF filters to open up the exhaust for improved noise and increased tuning potential.
What are the main changes for Version 2?
Version 2 has been redesigned for better airflow and exhaust sound compared to Version 1. The system splits into two pipes at the downpipe rather than in the GPF bypass section. This improves airflow closer to the turbo for faster spool and greater power gains. The increased price comes from the additional pipework (3 components rather than 2).
Milltek Sport exhausts are produced using high-quality type 304 aircraft-grade stainless steel. This material is anti-magnetic (other manufacturers' stainless steel may not be) and is less susceptible to discolouration. This quality of stainless steel is used on all pipework and the total construction of the silencer. Mandrel bending ensures full flow bends for better gas flow and Milltek Sport exhaust systems are increased in bore to ensure ultimate performance without the loss of mid-range torque. All Milltek Sport exhausts are designed, developed, and manufactured in-house in the UK.
*Please note: As this removes OEM emission reducing software, this exhaust upgrade is not EC approved and therefore not legal for road use.
This setup will require stage 2 tuning software.
